Spring Dances was a work composed for the 2017 MakeMusic Young Composers Composition which received 1st place. This work depicts the composer’s favorite season of the year, and ebbs and flows melodically and rhythmically like the shifting winds of a spring day. From delicate upper winds to flowing harmonies, Spring Dances is a rewarding piece that is sure to make an impact.
